Event Description

Virginia Tech, in partnership with Booz Allen Hamilton and the US Cyber Challenge organization, is hosting the east-coast cyber summer camp in Roanoke, Virginia. The event is June 24-28, 2013, and includes four days of instruction by SANS instructors, a career fair, and a cyber-attack/defense competition.

Getting There

The camp will be held at the Hotel Roanoke in Roanoke, VA. Directions to the Hotel Roanoke are available here.

Lodging

We have made reservations for students to stay at the Hotel Roanoke. Most events, as well as classes, will be held at the hotel. Please plan to check in at the hotel after 4pm on Sunday, June 23rd. Checkout will be Friday morning, June 28th at 11 AM. Bag storage will be available. Students will be lodged two to a room.

What to Bring

• Laptop with both wired and wireless adapters. Virtual machine software installed. Wireless will be available in the hotel, but you will need a wired connection for some events. Please bring a patch cord.
